(Nantucket) – Quidley & Company Fine Art. This exhibition represents a celebration of Nantucket, highlighting the island’s natural beauty and iconic imagery. The paintings in this show depict a particular aspect unique to the island and specially selected by participating artists — the allure of the coastline, the mesmerizing light, a beloved view or favorite street, even a “secret” spot. Each of these becomes the catalyst for the expression of the artist’s relationship with the “Grey Lady.” Stylistically diverse, the show brings together artists who have been creatively inspired by their personal experiences working, exploring or relaxing on Nantucket. Come view these pieces and discover the light, architecture and landscape that have been intoxicating to artists for generations.
